Team GB line up for the 2017 Enzed Team Championships will be
Team GB Director
"The one problem TGB has against them, is trying to keep a team together to build on, a strategy that the Nelson Tigers in the past and the Palmerston North Panthers have found major success with.
Where our main disadvantaged is, it's hard to get drivers to commit to approx a month away from home, work and family, and to do this every year say for 5 years.
The NZ teams don't have his conundrum. We are always going to have an inexperience within the team compared to other teams, as the only ever time we get to compete in team events is that short gap when we're in NZ. Which shows total credit and ability of our drivers. This year we benefitted from good cars which Rob Lintern helped us with, an excellent support package, drivers who listened and delivered and our continued support from our sponsors who help make all this happen. "

"From the Challenge Trophy against Auckland, through to the Teams Champs, our drivers delivered some good performances, in good reliable cars. They executed the plans we set down and delivered on them.
2nd will never be enough, our plan is to win.
Team GB Captain
"Every team member gave 100% and executed the plan we set down. Working together we can beat anyone. Auckland Challenge a week before, brook the rookies in, got them thinking like team racers and rising to the challenge.
1st is what we go for and with the great support from all involved, providing good cars and spares, and if we can keep a regular team, we can and will win.
I would like to thank all our drivers and crew for taking the time to make it all possible and the support from fans at home and in NZ. "
"The best racing experience of my life! Everyone said how good the racing is and how welcome the people make you feel and they couldn't have been more right. From start to finish the whole experience was awesome. The racing is something else. They really know how to treat the competitors and put a show on. The people who make it possible both here and in NZ really go above and beyond. I can't wait to go back."
"Really enjoyed my first experience of team racing. You can watch as many video clips as you want but until you see the strength of the cars up close and the hits it is unreal. Very much a gladitorial form of racing that requires alot of tactical thinking and teamwork. The atmosphere is amazing and I would say double that of one of our World Finals. To finish 2nd is a fantastic achievement by everyone involved but it is never enough to pick up a 2nd place trophy. I want to go back and help and be part of the team that one year wins the team championship and brings it back to GB"
